Running a film festival isn’t cheap.

In fact only 25% of our expenses are covered by the submissions fees and we don’t sell tickets for the Folkestone Short Film Festival, it is a free-to-attend event. This means that the vast majority of the costs are borne out of the organisers’ pockets.

It is especially difficult in the current climate with the pandemic closing theatres and our events have been severely affected by the restrictions imposed by the Government.

As such we are always looking for likeminded individuals or organisations to help us out, be it financially or offering their services and expertise for free.

Currently we have two ways you can help us out financially. A one-off donation via our GoFundMe campaign or by sponsoring us.

Your support goes a long way to help Folkestone International Film & TV Festival continue and grow. Each donation secures venues for future events, launching new events, licensing for screening feature films, providing educational workshops for budding filmmakers of the future and the day-to-day running and legal expenses of the organisation.

You will also be supporting industry newcomers.

Soon we hope to launch the FIFF Fund which will provide small grants to support those who are taking their first steps into the film industry be it as an actor, film director, composer, etc.
