The 7th Hellfire Short Film Festival
The hotly anticipated Round Two of the Hellfire Short Film Festival is just eleven days away. Here’s what you can expect from the 7th Hellfire Short Film Festival on Wednesday 28th September 2016.
Since its humble beginnings as an idea in 2014 Hellfire grew in 2016 to the point where over 2000 short films were submitted from 30 countries for the Hellfire Short Film Festival. In August 2016 the festival changed direction from a simple monthly showcase of short films to a much larger competition where the audience votes on their favourite short. The winning short goes through to our Grand Final that will be be incorporated into our major Hellfire International Film Festival in the summer of 2017.
THE FIRST WINNER WAS ‘THEY WILL ALL DIE IN SPACE’ DIRECTED BY JAVIER CHILLON.
Round Two’s genre is COMEDY and we already have many submissions all vying for a screening. The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 21st September so there’s still time to submit your comedy short if you haven’t already. All submissions are made via FilmFreeway.
The event itself starts at 7.30pm on Wednesday 28th September at the Lime Bar Cafe, Tontine Street, Folkestone with the winner announced at 10.30pm. Entry to the event is free.
See you at Lime Bar Cafe in eleven days!
