The 6th Hellfire Short Film Festival

It’s lights, camera, action for the 6th Hellfire Short Film Festival this Wednesday evening. After July’s record-breaking evening of film we’re hoping to go one better this month.

We’re doing things a little differently this time around. Instead of simply being a showcase for filmmaking talent we’re now running the HSFF as a monthly competition. At each month’s festival the audience will select their favourite short film which will go forward into the the “Grand Final” at the main Hellfire Film Festival (date TBA). The winning short film at the main event will be crowned Hellfire Short Film Festival Winner – and the director will receive a cash prize and trophy – but it’s the accolade that’s the most important part, right?

So if you’re in or around Folkestone this Wednesday evening get yourself down to the Lime Bar Cafe on Tontine Street to enjoy the best of independent filmmaking. The festival begins at 7.30pm.
