Unprecedented Numbers

Submissions reach unprecedented numbers

Three weeks ago we opened the entry process for the next Hellfire Short Film Festival via FilmFreeway and we have received an unprecedented number of submissions.

At the time of writing over 1,300 short films have arrived in our inbox totalling close to 400 hours of film ranging from under one minute to our upper limit of 25 minutes. The closing date for entries is 3rd July and the final lineup for our Short Film Night in Folkestone on 7th July will be announced shortly afterwards.

We are eternally grateful to all filmmakers who have submitted their films for consideration but due to the sheer number of entries we are unable to reply to every filmmaker individually, only those who have been successful. Therefore we would like to thank each and every filmmaker who has given us the arduous task of reviewing each film and hope that you will consider submitting your films to future events held by Hellfire Film Festival.

There’s still time to submit your short film to our next Short Film Night. Visit FilmFreeway now. (Closing date 3rd July).
